Vhiyra Anatomy - WIP

i've had this sitting in a folder for far too long ! lol ive been meaning to get all the descriptions of the organs and structures down but that probably not going to happen for a while with all the other stuff i've gotta get done , lol for now shes just going to have to look cool and be semi informative about vhiyra internal anatomy.

Our girl here is a Bloom vhiyra, they grow radioles in flower like patterns from their hips and have ear tentacles with oral capabilities! meaning there's 3 ways to end up eaten rather than just one! so watch out for those flowery tentacle things on the end of em lest you get snatched up . however this species is a less voracious one as those petals filter feed from the water .

the rib like structure and sacs in the arms are actually muscular sacs with high pressure fluid inside to maintain a rigid form.

and the lung is just a reverberation chamber to enable speech in and out of the water, since, as worms, vhiyra breathe through their skin. so the only time they would actually need to breathe air or water is to talk

vhiyra also have no acid producing stomach and just possess a crop (which looks like a stomach here) and a gizzard (right below with the studded interior) used for crushing food through muscular action, like a trash compactor or something.

that faint doodle to the left of her shows the different vhiyra nipple configurations , guess wut ? theyre internal pressure regulating valves that help deal with travelling through different pressure zones, the flatter the shape the deeper they can dive it works the same for the dudes. in females the surrounding breast tissue is used similarly to camel humps I suppose 0.o they create a a highly concentrated nutrient fluid, to assure a supply of the right organic chemicals when the females are growing eggs, but they can actually lacitate anything, its all a sealed internal system.

the sexual organs are located within the navel which is an actual opening rather than a scar, so you might see some vhiyra who wrap a belt around their navels since its almost the equivalent to having your junk showing, its especially common for males as arousal causes a flower like structure to pop out from inside that is used to join with the female, this phenomena is known in the vulgar as popping a bloomer, which can be quite embarrassing . females on the other hand, just like humans only have a receptacle there, which remains sealed until "stimulated" , so itching your belly button for a vhiyra has a quite a different meaning to it than in other species.

annnd the rest youll just have to use your imagination for now if you check out an actual worm anatomy you should get some clues as to the other structures .
