Gift for TheEnglishGent - Coras Aquarium by string-fountain Gift for TheEnglishGent - Coras Aquarium by string-fountain
Aka the Haidan Oceanic Research facility, Owned and run by its founder Cora Hidan :)

A gift for :icontheenglishgent: because Cora is awesome lol. i love all his stuff and characters :D. It was a tough decision whether to do Marie and CG or Cora but Coras sciency side won me over :)

Cora isn't actually not natural giantess =P I think her powers of growth come from the suit shes made for herself based on Gent's description. The suit also infuses her with many traits of Orca whales which she finds absolutely inspiring, however there are some more uncontrollable side effects such as the growth of sharp teeth and developing a taste for seals lol, but shes got that pretty under control at this moment as the seals in her tank are doing fine :)

Her bracelet has a function as well which Gent mentions in his art.

I was really interested in :icontheenglishgent:'s image and written description of Cora's aquarium and it gave me a mental image that i really had to get out :D.

Image:

I dont think her place is an actual "seaworld" type attraction, probably obvious with all the bare machinery showing, but I decided to make this "open to the public" day at the facilities, with Cora giving tours to all her little visitors :).

Although Cora can shrink down i thought about putting in some giant-rated paths that go between all the tanks, an end of which are those steps right there are an end of which , so if any large animals or equipment need moving she can just do it herself instead of needing a complicated crane system.

That building in the background with the orca logo is the management/laboratory facilities, with Cora's office at the top! And everything is enclosed in a warm climate controlled environment

Cora and all Personal Traits and powers belong to :icontheenglishgent: i just added a bit formally :)

Check out his stuff!

Coras bio:...along with the others :)

Wow, this is... is... inspirational. All the atmosphere; It's like I'm reading a whole novel all at once.

thanks! you have no idea how happy i am to hear that, my goal going forward is actually storytelling through both visual art and writing, not quite comic/manga density of images but instead heavily illustrated text is what im going for :) so to communicate alot in one image is pretty important to me.

Thanks again!

I'd like to do something similar. I have ideas bouncing around in my head, but my skills are too rough at this point to put them together in a reasonable time frame. Maybe I'll have time over the holidays to focus on bringing something epic together.

Wow, impressive work on all that detail!

...I love how the kid is looking at the aquarium's proprietor, rather than to the aquarium's residents.  :D

haha yeh i was thinking that little girl might be struck with admiration wondering if she could grow up to be as big as Cora one day =P. lol i bet alot of people come to be in the presence of a giantess :). I would imagine Cora has quite gotten used to big eyed expressions of awe as she uses her giant form quite often =P

thanks :)! yeh it is quite a welcoming environment,  with all the sea life going about its business in the tanks, the peeps having a good time and Cora's warm smile :D. and i personally love the aesthetic of bare machinery! which i think i developed a love for from playing sonic games all my life :D evident in the music i was listening to while drawing this :)

haha  :D thats an awesome reference for this aesthetic as well! The sonic series seemed to be heavily influenced by star wars, with the rather obvious rip of the Death star in Death Egg =P.  it all sort of connects :D
